Baptist General Convention Of Oklahoma General Endowment
Oklahoma Baptists touches the lives of many individuals and communities through the work of Disaster Relief, Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Falls Creek, and Church Planting, as well as many other ministry areas. Your gift will help the Oklahoma Baptists’ mission of impacting lives with the Gospel in Oklahoma and beyond.
Evangelism Ministries
Oklahoma Baptists Evangelism ministries seek to spread the Gospel across the state by empowering pastors and churches with the resources they need. They fulfill this purpose by providing personal evangelism training for churches and associations, planning and organizing the State Evangelism Conference, connecting people and resources through social media, offering physical assets such as revival tents and trailers, and more.
Cooperative Program Giving
Since it’s inception in 1925, the Cooperative Program (CP) has served as Southern Baptists’ unified plan of giving through which cooperating Southern Baptist churches give a percentage of their undesignated receipts in support of their respective state convention and Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries. The Cooperative Program allows Southern Baptist to do more together than one church or convention could ever do alone.
Falls Creek
Falls Creek is an Oklahoma Baptists owned and operated summer youth camp located in the beautiful Arbuckle Mountains in Davis, OK. Each week of summer camp, Falls Creek hosts over 6,000 students and sponsors on the campgrounds, and over the eight weeks of youth camp at each summer we host a total of upwards of 54,000 guests! Since 1917 over 2.3 million people have walked these grounds resulting in over 250,000 conversions and life-changing decisions for Christ during the summer encampments alone. More missionaries have experienced their call to a lifetime of service at Falls Creek than at any other place on the face of the earth.
Disaster Relief
Since 1973, Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief has traveled around the country as a first response team, ministering to those in need during times of crisis. Over 5000 trained team members are organized into five geographic zones encompassing the state. Disaster Relief services include providing hot meals to large numbers, water purification, mobile showers and laundry, damage assessment, chain saw debris removal, mud-out, ash-out, child care, and medical assistance.
CrossTimbers Children’s Mission Adventure Camp
CrossTimbers Children’s Mission Adventure Camp exists to support local church efforts to reach lost children in their communities and to raise up a generation of kids with an authentic walk with God who actively serve others with missional living. Throughout each session of camp, there is a high priority on scripture, worship, relationships with camp staff and church sponsors, and opportunities for kids and sponsors to sharpen their skills and prepare to consistently serve God after camp. CrossTimbers is supported by Oklahoma Baptists’ gifts through the Cooperative Program.
